Lebaneseproud -- for better or for worse, neither rank stupidity nor manifest racism (or other manifest bigotry) is, absent what are understood to be impeachable acts, impeachable 'high crimes or misdemeanors', undertaken due to and/or in furtherance of same, a sufficient independent grounds for impeachment

leaving aside political party labels as such, as those shift over time in what political bents they actually denote, and keeping the focus on (as currently denoted) actually 'liberal/progressive' versus actually 'conservative' politics over time, daresay it's pretty obvious which side in our current, and for that matter historical, politics would be, would all along have been, substantially more at risk of losing elected/appointed officials to impeachment if the opposite were, had been, true
