I agree with, "It is great to have increased the average returns however I found out today that the increases in returns come with a more complex system that is more labor intensive". The tweaked versions also create a lot more trades (more commissions).
I like the basic versions which I have posted. The returns may not be as great, but the volatility is less.
My opinion of the basic versions is:
It is a momentum system with a little bit of counter extremism (VTO) thrown in, and a little bit of curve fitting on top of that. The NASI signal, when used, is only a buffer between other signals.
IMHO.......skepticism is warranted and I do not portend a Holy Grail system.
