Nice for the state, but Maryland loses those jobs, so in my way of counting, it is a wash, like many trades.
As long as the jobs pay better, and there are some benefits, that is what I care about. A good job goes both ways, in what you make or do, and can you live on it and support a family and have some time to yourself.
So many jobs demand so much from the individual. Ever work a rotating shift, hard on the worker, hard on the family, and over time you age badly, and can have health problems.
