That was the Airbus A321 sold to Global on June 2nd, 2014 and flown out of the US on June 6th. It is very old having been built in 1990. And as far as Global having flights to the US, it's not very likely as the A321 is the largest plane they own. An A321 would have to make no less then four refueling stops. A321's are not used to cross the Atlantic by any airline. It does not have a large enough reserve fuel capacity. So FLST's & Globals announcement that they are going to be doing the South Africa to Miami run was less then truthful IMO.
