That's an important observation. I made a similar comment a while ago, I stated that while there were a number of new highs, if you were to look at stocks which traded the most volume, a very small percentage were making new highs. However, unless either observation can be marked with some historical significance, I would view the complete NH/NL list to be more valuable as a tool.
