Affinity Announces Appointment of Patent Licensing Representative

COLUMBIA, S.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 27, 2003--Affinity Technology Group, Inc. (OTCBB:AFFI - News) today announced that its patent licensing subsidiary, decisioning.com, Inc., has appointed the law firm of Withrow & Terranova, PLLC to serve as the company's patent licensing representative. Withrow & Terranova will replace LPS Group, which was terminated by the company earlier in the month.
Under the terms of the company's agreement with Withrow & Terranova, this firm will act as the company's exclusive patent licensing representative and litigation counsel. In that capacity, Withrow & Terranova will attempt to obtain licenses for the company's patents and will act as the company's legal counsel if litigation becomes necessary to enforce the company's intellectual property rights. Withrow & Terranova will be compensated on a contingency fee basis from any amounts received by the company under patent licenses or in connection with any patent litigation commenced by the company.
