ABT is a premiere beneficiary of ‘The Global Demographic Tailwind’ that I plan to hold for several years at least. I have high confidence in ABT’s management (the same team who ran the company before the ABBV spin-off), and I like ABT’s recent deals to bulk up in branded generics for emerging markets (#msg-102107675, #msg-103616483), which is a more profitable business than many investors think.
