10:24 EDT - KBW says sentiment heading into Wells Fargo's(WFC) 2Q report Friday "seems high," with investors believing the company has the levers needed to continue to post higher per-share earnings despite a challenging operating environment. KBW notes that it isn't convinced that the quality of WFC's 1Q earnings--which included large private equity gains, substantial reserve releases and a significant tax benefit--"fully warrants some of the complacency around the shares."
