If President Obama does not make some changes soon, at the end of his presidency he will be known as a historical leader - the first African-American president, but not a transformational leader - the president who truly uplifted and catapulted Black people from cycles of poverty, unemployment, illiteracy, and despair.

Good grief... The community has to stop looking for a savior and start taking responsibility for themselves starting with taking school seriously. We've handed over everything since the years of LBJ and his misguided Great Society. The entertainment media have portrayed whites as idiots and blacks as wise professionals. What more can possibly be done except take responsibility for themselves?

BTW, the above certainly does not apply to all blacks. Sadly, the self-starters who've done well through hard work don't get the publicity the free-phone crowd does. If zero had truly wanted to help he would have made it his mission to unite this country not drive a wedge down the middle.
