If a stock buyback was just announced and only a very small number of shares were bought it might quickly have a significant impact on the share price because of the exceedingly limited liquidity. That was my point.

I also think a small cash dividend would do wonders for the share price.

If cash is sufficient and profits allow I think both ought be considered.
