Update: Just heard Al Gore will sit beside Clive Palmer when he makes his groups Carbon Tax
position public in a few minutes. If any can get the Australian ABC1 on tv it could be interesting.

Update: i thought Palmer's speech may be broadcast live, but apparently he is making it now. Oh, and he's speaking to Al Gore now,
a reporter just said. Apparently Palmer is announcing he will support an emissions trading scheme (ETS) which is Labor's position.

Need details, but it's "extraordinary" (to quote a commentator) that Al Gore is there with one of Australia's
biggest coal miners. LOL, one other wondered if Al had done his homework as to how flaky Clive can be.

Sounds a possibility Palmer may not support Abbot's direct action carbon policy. That would a surprise.

The fact that Gore is involved has to be a positive.
