In general, Yes. An example is Sculptra from SNY, which is approved as a cosmetic treatment for AIDS patients but not for the general public:

p.s. For want of a better name, I refer to the condition Sculptra treats as Chet Baker syndrome, in honor of the legendary jazzman. Anyone who has seen photos of Baker from his final years will understand what I mean.
