I don't think I can knowledgeably answer you that question, especially the book-to-bill was as lousy as it was reported 2 weeks ago.

However, the Moore's law has been successfully predict the semi industry turnover since the 60's, I doubt it'll fail now. Recall that TSM mentioned something regarding increased in manufacturing ? 'Perhaps' build up the inventory for the last quarter of this year ? The one thing that concerned me was the fact that INTC mentioned earlier this year that they'll reduce the CAPEX. I haven't heard anything since, and still wondering if they've yet changed planned expenditures for the year.

IMHO, even though the spending will be cut, when the new technology comes out, most companies will have to upgrade their systems in order to 'productively' compete in this tough economy.
