Then can I ask w/o being mistaken as a smartass, what factors do you use to buy/sell, short/long?

If value is out the window, then is it only trend, and when is the trend no longer be your friend?

I realize this must be an intrusive type of question, but it seems to me that one would have to have a conviction, up or down and since we all know the market can go any way w/o any type of indicators, then you must see an UPTREND as a good shorting opportunity if you lean that way, and a downtrend as a reason to BUY if you lean THAT way.

If you go both long and short, then HOW DO YOU DO IT??? <G>

It's for dang sure I have called or PICKED the wrong trend, even when I went long a few times in the past. Geez, I am probably the most contrarian indicator walking the trading cyber space wasteland..... sigh
