I would agree. They bought a printer to print. There are some benefits (showing potential clients the benefits of using Printrite3D) but I am now concerned.

I am now concerned how OEMs and Manufactures view this news.
- For OEMs, would Sigma's purchase of a rival printer cause concern? would they consider Sigma a potential competitor or threat to work with?
- For manufactures that were looking at placing Printrite3D into their machines, would they see Sigma as a threat to their revenue stream? would this make them want to partner with others to develop a rival IPQA system?

On one hand, it could be beneficial if it is used to show clients what Printrite3D can do, but to actually get into the manufacturing side is a route I did not envision they would take. I am concerned because my Long Term hold strategy was based on them seen as 'saviors' by OEMs and Manufactures in helping them increase their profit margins. Now I need to do some DD to see if this company is seriously going into manufacturing and if so, do they have the ability to survive splitting their focus into commercialization and manufacturing.

I am interested to hear if your strategy has changed in light of the news.
