[Here comes the night]

Ksquared..I must be living in a friggin void. I would never think Player of the year taunts would ever be racially motivated. Its even more amusing whether a white or black player ia named player of the year. Its about contributions to your team, the game and its hard to fathom more than a brain fart causing the color of a player to be of any consequence. It was a little sad watching Gonzaga lose their composure or UCLA excel the last 3 mintues. I guess it depends on which franchise you are behind. One thing I couldn't quite get a grip on was the unabashed excitement by the announcers over the outcome of the game. I thought I was in Chi town listening to Harry Carey, yelling " CUBS WIN!, CUBS WIN!, CUBS WIN!" I am a Pac 10 grad so I can certainly dig UCLA winning but live in Washington currently so there was a mixed feeling when it was over. I could of only hoped for a final 4 meeting between the two instead of the two best in the west meeing in a sweet 16...Thanks for the Welcome..Will drop in again. Gotta be rootin for the Washington Huskies tonight but that doesn't have the same probability of a Wa win as last nights..MWC
