Exactly. And that language -- i.e., "so long as investors have been alerted about which social media will be used to disseminate such information" -- is even less strict than the language V-man is quoting about having to "inform" investors.

In either case, "have been alerted" and even "must inform" simply does not translate to "must state in an official filing or PR statement disseminated via marketwire." That is not the law.
