Tom, The way I see and use his advice, is to get ideas, and be fine research. I seldom buy on his recs, they tend to provide better entry point, sometimes 50% discounted. These are Very small, Very early companies, no revenues, and some fail.
However, the upside is unlike any thing at the right company, several good years away. Remember, we got 2008 crisis in our past, and this has stalled the progress of many micro development stage firms, and made them more financially responsible. It is unlikely such crisis hit us again any time soon.
So now, we have many of these smaller firms making good progress with results, either way, in the Near future.
Patrick's value is in unique Ability to point to the Best micro ideas. I am pleased if I can find one or two ideas per year. My micro Port. Is 400% up Thanks to him, but it isnt for traders, and one needs to study the fundementals, rather then the flactuations in price.
BTX, I believe, will become an over 100 billion company, in good time. It will be the Intel of stem cells. West's decisions and financial Management is priceless. Dilution & share count is Almost funny, for these results, & I would prefer him to go slowly and minimize dilution leaving more profits for us shareholders. This is 1,000$ stock or more, with 250X upside, dilution included, to those who can wait. Very little will go Very, Very far.
But Very, Very little people will ride this glorious way, because it is the nature of people to trade rather than study, understand what they hold, and signing on their hands looking at progress.
By the time people will want to buy in, this will be a 5 billion company, and the truely heritage changing fortunes will be gone.
Every time the company hits an impressive Low, I buy a little more. So much progress is happening here. Two weeks ago, I presented this company and it took me 2 Hours to cover.
To do well, really well, You need to be investor, not trader. Study this company to understand what you are looking at. Other wise, You will end up like my grandad who traded BRK, made some $$$ but passed away with the realization he traded thousands of dollars for Tens of millions....
