I called 6 national shred companies. All offered to sell their shred to me. None asked who I was or what I intended to do with the shred.

We not only turn the documents to a paper pulp, we alter them at a cellular level. As the paper enters our pellet mill, the material is heated to over 200 degrees F. This melts the lignin in the cell walls. This altering of the cell shape effectively ‘blanks’ the surface of the cell. Any information written on its surface is destroyed.
