Preferred shares don't usually get voting rights. And trade on seperate stock exchange often and set at different price. Their advantage is more regular pay in dividends and from cash-flow/equity. Something an officer would expect for regular pay obviously for their work! Common shareholders obviously make money off simple value they own of company. I think ill start my own company and get my own shares and preferred!
