I would be happy for BTX to be a good investment for folks. I guess I did lose faith this year. Glad to see it recover back to 3 dollars at least. that's a small victory I suppose. but the real test will be to see what BTX does around 4 dollars. and that recent video from Patrick Cox, ...actually made me lose a bit of faith in him as well. Finding breakthrough technology is only part of the equation. Understaning how and whether the technology will 'fit into' the medical industry system is another important part of the problem. He seems to believe that breakthrough technology will be like the holy grail for humanity as it opens up blue skies . But reality in this world has a lot to do with money and power and control of systems. Just as there seems to be 'to big to fail banks' I worry there might also be 'too big to disrupt ' medical money systems.
It didn't ruin any critical system when Henry Ford made the model T, because the horse and buggy industry was no big deal.and the oil industry was a big deal. Ford wason the right side of the equation. The medical cancer industry and heart disease industry is a different story possibly. needs more careful transition. no big paradigm shifts if it means fast and total disruption to the money systems.
Maybe we need to be selective in that regard when it comes to what disease cure we invest in.
