I would say that fundamental analysis could work with any company. To me when you are looking at a company's fundamentals instead of just a chart then you are looking to invest in the long term growth of the company and the day to day, even the week to week price action should not concern you.

IF I were to ever invest in something fundamentally it would be a long term investment where I think the company could do some good stuff in 5-10 years.

To be quite honest when you are day trading and looking at charts then the only thing you know about the company is the ticker symbol... you could care less about the "fundamentals" because the price and the movement of the stock is supposed to reflect ALL information known of the company, public and private. Thats why when you see above average volume for no reason on a stock then all of the sudden you see it get pumped, or a PR come out, or a good SEC filing its because the information always leaks out....
