OT..great post Captain...sounds like you know your stuff. My next boat will be a Grady 24' with twin Yamaha saltwater 200s or 150s. Good size that can still be towed with a Suburban. Love those Gradys. Yes Steelhead are serious fighters. I flyfish for them or if I'm lazy will go driftboating and use sandshrimp or salmon roe. Downriggers for Chinook/Coho/Halibut on the ocean.
