I'll stick to my simple lines as a guide. A right shoulder does appear if there is a heads and shoulder. A wedge will paint vertices to form that pattern. Patterns and trading ranges have shown up, and will continue show up. Why? Because humans won't stop being humans, even if it's mostly computers now mimicing computers... The study of charts is the study of human behavior. Statistical analysis may help you define the boundries of that behavior. Are telling no-one has ever won playing charts well (not saying I play the well...) But my core strategy is even simpler than that...
