To blatantly dismiss AMSILK in whatever application they intend for their products would be foolish IMO.

You are correct,as no one knows what the future holds.

This is why I included Leimers comment:

Leimer is convinced that, even from the outset, the market will be able to support several players.

You posted:

We don't really know what KBLB's exact product applications pertain to, we can only speculate..

Might I refer back to the quote:

Large-scale output for products such as fibers and high-performance textiles will come after 2015, Leimer says.

Notice that the "products" are broken down to two categories:

1) Fiber, which in and of itself can be considered a product

AND

2) High performance textiles;the 2nd set of products.

Of course, they'd have to realize #1 before proceeding to step #2.

You are however correct in saying that we can only speculate on what potential products may be considered in their business model.

If they adequately satisfy the "cost-effective" parameter, they MAY be onto something....

Until then,KBLB can proudly state with confidence that they are the "WORLD LEADER" in spider silk FIBER technology....

In my opinion.

TRUTH

I've never claimed to have all the answers but feel i'm beginning to corner the market in questions worthy of solutions.
