What's the point of asking? Most software apps that are written properly should be relatively effortless to port between architectures. I know of one piece of software that needed assistance. It was DB2, and once Intel put enough effort into porting to their architecture, AMD leveraged off of it and bragged about the development time. Good for them, it was a clever move. In the future, I don't see x86-64 as having an advantage in porting time.
