legalegaltx, it MUST live up to the expectation. As a customer I would pay more money and go with the company with the better website. The choosing of the movies/games to rent is what makes it fun. Marketing is everything and the customer expects to feel a certain way. The first page of a website better have a positive/fresh/sexy/hip/exciting/fun image. I feel those things when I look at the Netflix website and I see the young couple laughing together on a couch watching movies and eating popcorn. I think to myself, I want to be apart of this. When I saw the image that some were thinking was our new website the image I saw was the exact opposite of how Netflix website made me feel.
