The strange thing, none of the brokers ever report their client having any shares currentlly lended to shorts sellers, in the bi-monthly report.
And the massive covering "short squeeze" event that is always predicted, never comes to pass.
It's as if the Reg SHO report, didn't actually reported short sales. But that's crazy talk. If it was the case, FINRA would have a FAQ explaining that.
