Well, when you're calculating monthly stuff, a few decimal points can make a difference when projected over several years on a trendline. Since in T/A extremes are used to draw the trendlines, identify tops, bottoms, fibs, support, and resistance, the analysis and the targets should also follow the same pattern, IMO.

When we discuss informally, sure, rounding up and down is a function of time. When we draw it out and work the numbers, it's just as easy to carry it out according to the numbers that you're using for the extremes.
