Challenge a penny or their CPA in court and the first thing they'll do is cart out all that itty bitty boilerplate. Actually it used to be in small print. Nowadays I see filings where disclaimers are in huge caps and sometimes underlined. Smart investors read the filings and know those words count. But there are very, very few savvy investors in Pennyland. Nothing's going to save them. Take everything in a MMRF filing seriously.
As my Contracts 101 professor would bellow: "READ THE WORDS!!!"
