I thought the discussion was about EDGE, the lack of a 3G-capable EDGE handset anywhere on the horizon, all the infra that EDGE will require, etc., not about the golf balls you've lost.

By when do you expect an EDGE hansdset that can achieve 3G speeds on a stand alone basis, not when used as a modem like the Motorola T725?

SonyEricsson might be out of business soon. I wouldn't look to it for a big EDGE development push. Nokia has no new EDGE phones apart from the 6220 that is self-limited to 118 kbps.

It increasingly looks to me that EDGE is another pig in a poke.
