Amp, You make good points and your opinions are reasonable. I'll add, regarding dosing, the docs know they can always step up dosage all the way to 45mg if they started too low. We can figure out the worst case change to the EU label.

My concern is that the market is getting impatient. My hope is that ASCO data will provide buyers enough validations to make bids on the company. We'd get our shareholder value, just the same as if we waited out 2 dilutive years, but without the risk.

Ariad is vulnerable to a hostile bid. It's possible we could become cheaper, but not much (I hope). Denner actually is a factor that could steer toward a buyout. The May 15 preliminary ASCO releases may be enough to get the ball rolling. With the annual meeting in late June, an ASCO-driven deal IMO, seems about right timing-wise. The buyer gets to cut their own deals, not the ones in the proxy.

tc, there are probably several buyers out there that have put together your spreadsheet, just waiting to plug in ASCO results into their offer algorithm.

The challenge is HB. I think the big (and less big, right gdoll?!) shareholders have been giving him real problems. We've all seen what even the hint of b/o rumor does to our pps.

HB can't ignore this situation forever and he can't ignore offers.
