I don't believe that's entirely true, if you go to the press release of March 11th they said,
Orofino Gold Corp. (PINK OTC: ORFG) ("Orofino Gold" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that the Company's name change has been accepted by the State of Nevada, the Company will be submitting documents to FINRA for the name change and request a new symbol.
As of that date they had not filed to Finra and I'm sure that they were able to do that or hope that they did that in March but it puts us well within the operating time line of Finra. 30-60 days is not uncommon.
And the variables include competency of both the management and attorneys (not everyone files for a name change every day so there is a learning curve) and if that were the only event then it might be easier but they are also working on an acquisition so the completeness of the application including some statements regarding the financials (meeting reporting requirements, etc) also come into play.
It takes time - buy some cheap shares while you wait, avoid the drama and smile on the other side. IMO - GL2U
