What % of GSM market does Q collect royalty from?
I think the answer is 0.0%
It is my understanding that the GSM is 80% of total mobile telecoms market.
It is also my understanding that this 80% is migrating to W-CDMA.
Further, all material players have signed agreement with Qualcomm to pay the same royalty to Q, no matter if they use 1x or W-CDMA.
My ending question, "What % of the TOTAL 3G market (i.e., all mobile phones, PDA's, etc...), regardless of flavor (e.g., CDMA2000 1x, W-CDMA, TD-CDMA, ZipiddyDooDa-CDMA) will provide Q with a royalty?"
I think the answer is 100.0%.
