SIH (Silicon Investor Hub?)

That does have a nice ring to it, but I suspect that it may be just a tad too obvious.

On other occasions, Matt and Bob (and others) have repeatedly said that there is nothing that IHub posters do not know and, in the same vein, that there is no question that at least one IHub member will not have an answer to.

This time, however, I suspect that when "whatever it is" is revealed, we will all say "Wow" but that it will not be anything we guessed. I also suspect that most of us will be kicking ourselves with "Damn that should have been obvious." In that context, I suspect that many of us have pieces that are coincidentally relevant, but that none of us have or will put them together (with the missing pieces) to reach the correct answer.

My first wag is that it has something to do with or is related to the significant spike in posting over the last week. I have not done a full comparison, but I'd bet that IHub passed or was very close to (on at least one day) SI in total posting activity.

My second wag (since there is no limit) is that "whatever it is" involves or is related to (directly or indirectly) the Dyers.

My only regret is that I'll be out of town in trial next week and will be unlikely to see the announcement unless it happens to make the national news or is very late in the week. Thus, like the April 1st escapades, I likely won't see it until it is over and old news.

Whatever it ends up being, except for the PS that follows this, I think I can safely say "Congratulations" in advance.

PS -- so long as I am really wagging re: Is mmmary gonna be unhappy about the announcement?

My final wag is that the announcement will be that Matt and mmmary are engaged or that Matt's last trip down the coast was really them eloping. It was really a Hog he was riding for the weekend.
