I'm at 17 right now but I am also fairly new at this game and am trying to be smarter and smarter, I'm going to get down to 5-10 because actually one of my plays looks to burst the bubble and then I'll need to sell off a few of the losers thanks to uncle sam :)

But I'm also one of those idiots that think some of these companies will actually prevail so i keep 10k of all companies i make a profit on.
