Many people at both GILD and Pharmasset deserve the credit, including the insightful management team. I did not go into detail on my chemist friends at GILD, but they consist of several. One from Pharmasset, a couple of bench chemists at GILD (working on immuno-oncology targets), and another that did the due diligence on the Pharmasset assets.

The relevant compounds that have recently been approved were from several years ago, seems like even longer as so many things have happened in the interim.
