And, even if people were short… since February 18th every short position would have been profitable since the stocks in MJ are down. You seem to think a "short" position has to cover intra-day. It doesn't. If you have enough money to short a 0.08 stock you have enough to pay the margin interest for 1 or 2 days for when the stock is down 10+%.
