The Fat Lady is warming up...one way or another.
Her screeching is becoming more interesting. This can only be interpreted as a last ditch effort to spoil things as things approach the the point of no return.
These are facts of recent days:
1. The JDA wrote to participants in Block 2 to say the JMC officially and formally approved Sinopec as operators of the block, so long as it takes on all Pioneer's obligations.
2. A JOA is in place for Block 3
3. At the request of Soa Tome, the JMC is due to meet on the 14th.
4. Chevron has another month before reaching total depth in Block 1.
However, a certain journalist who we know is favoured by the Fat Lady will want to have you think that there is no oil in Block 1 (neither CVX, XOM or Afren have commented, so we don't know). The Fat Lady would actually prefer that be the case. She will mix truths, half truths, rhetoric and gossip with her own agenda to spread deliberate misinformation on anything associated with the JDZ, the Sao Tomeans, Nigerians, ERHC and other participants.
Her noise will reach an even higher pitch. In the face of the upcoming barrage, focus on what we know to be verifiable facts.
