The 7-10 days was unusual and significant because it set a clock running on their constant delays. I took it as very positive, as indeed did most people. You can't set that short a timeframe unless you have the stock in hand and they're undergoing final fulfillment and whatever else is needed to get them into the shipping channel.
They not only just undid that timeframe, in effect defusing a bomb they themselves set in motion, but they decline to give us a new timeframe, instead creating a new set of unknowables to explain a potentially unlimited delay.
Combine that monumental level of weaselry and evasion with the massive dumping of large positions that's been going on for the last couple of days, I think I call shenanigan on the whole affair.
If the NP-1 does not exist in mass-produced form from Foxconn, and they're really playing shell games with a handful of early prototypes, then I believe Mr. Taylor would have a great deal of trouble explaining his actions on a witness stand. Because, if that's the case, they've well surpassed acceptable levels of corporate b.s. and gone to the next level, the level that attracts federal authorities.
