Archeogeek re how this plays out...
too hard to know at this point, until more clarity is provided.
once the penalty box time is over, it will be very important for phot to lay all the cards on the table to the share holders.
they will need an oprah moment w/ their shareholders to have any shot to start creating an atmosphere of building trust again.
globaldata is right in re to how this usually plays out. however, we dont know all the circumstances yet.
and call me alex jones, but i think the sec had a bigger agenda here, then just seeking out corruption w/ 1 company. this may have been example time to publicly flog a leader to tamp down an entire sector they may have perceived as getting out of control.
phot's honesty in the past, will help the mitigation process, in as far as i do think shareholders will listen to sterling & are open to weighing what they say if the company is nakedly forthright.
if the problem was isolated & not metastasized thru the whole body, then they have a shot to keep this entity moving forward. it will also mean showing that partners in business are still onboard & that more are signing. the company will also roll out into the market again at a time the sector may very well bottom. timing wise that will help b/c wash state legalization will be right around the corner.
sins can be forgiven, if clarity commences & results materialize.
