My Phone Conversation with Kim Thompson 4/18/2013
I called Kraig Laboatories at 11:09am(EST) and left a message on his voicemail.
This afternoon I made a follow-up call at 3:35pm and Mr. Thompson picked up the phone:
My initial message was concerning the preferred stock and if any were they were going to be publicly available......
What I went on to find out was quite interesting.
Firstly,Kim Thompson asked if I was a stockholder and I thanked him for taking my call.
I asked if the preferred stocks were to be made available for public consideration and he advised me that they weren't.He did go on to say that the shares would be used towards business transactions and also as a means of converting some of his shares,with respect to votes.
He stated it was mentioned in a previous charter but was never carried out.
When asked about the conference call date,he explained that the intention was for approximately a month from now but his PR person is inclined towards three weeks.
Kim's rationale was that he is presently working on certain deals that he would rather have concrete information on,than to merely state vague facts that can be subject to interpretation.
He did state that there he has deals in the pipeline and that 2013 will be a good year for KBLB and anticipates 2014 to be even better.
I was curious about the "competition" in the Asian realm.Kim stated his awareness of this and although he didn't commit, stated that he wouldn't be opposed to a possible collaboration of sorts,if the opportunity presented itself.
