My understanding is the Performance Food Group is different than the Albertsons deal. Performance Food Group apparently is a distributor to chain restaurants, quick-service eateries, pizzerias, schools, hotels, health care facilities, and vending machines.

Albertsons has those obviously is a chain of grocery stores as I wrote before, separate from the Performance Food Group deal.

Stater Brothers is not related to either of those, however, back in October Mojo announced CMC Sales & Marketing Broker for the Western States. They even said:

"CMC will bring the very best in product positioning Chiquita Tropicals direct into the produce section of the store. This is where shoppers expect to find a juice of this quality".

Well that's where I found it, just like they said. I am assuming Albertsons and Stater Brothers are a result of CMC. I did check Ralph's and CVS and they did not have it.

Bottom line, CMC pulled through. Not sure about the Walmart deal or the ESM Ferolie and Eastern Distributors for the East Coast. Another one they announced was M3 as the sales and marketing broker for US Military Commissaries and Exchanges.

One thing is for sure, at least they are making deals with the distributors to get the product out there and it is out there. That's great news. My fear was these guys were going to rip us off, especially when the stock dropped out, but at least we know there is a product and it's out there, not getting dumped in the dumpster like Billy had us thinking. And if it's in Albertsons with their 1075 stores and Stater Brothers with their 167 stores they are moving volume and that's a good start!
