I hope what's going on is that Q is transforming into some viable business. Owning an operating studio is something, as is a viable direct-marketing/GLBT channel with professional management.

But the studio-space market is not tight and there's no indications yet that Q Television Studios is renting it out to paying customers. A studio is a massive overhead and it must be utilized and paid for. Olsen doesn't have $200 grand to cover payroll, so someone likely accepted stock for the direct purchase on Q's behalf. Perhaps Fan and his 'partners'. If Q-TV has cut back on its shows then Fan know he needs to replace them with paying customers (eg, shows from other networks, or infomercial recordings, etc. Whatever.)

What did this cost us in 'dilution'? How many shares now are outstanding? Did it add shareholder value? Olsen no longer gets the benefit of the doubt here.
