The Black channel raise they are building now wasn't just a raise it was a crosscut and a raise. The tunnel hadn't been extended far enough to bypass the Big Bend area. So we had to extend the tunnel then build a raise.

The new channels will just need a raise and one half the distance the black channel needed.

Much faster.
