Can you explain the drilling process in some detail?

Specifically the collection and analyzing of the gravels from the channels as they drill each hole.

I think its unlikely Gary is sitting on a lawn chair next to the drill for 2-3 weeks while they drill dozens of holes.

It's also unlikely the driller will be responsible for making any critical calls as to the levels of gold and type of gravels.

The richest channels in the Ruby hold .20 - .35 ounces of gold per ton of gravel so even in rich samples we may only have a few small flakes. So I am assuming the gravels will have to be washed before showing their gold.
