DEL MAR, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 17, 2005--
Colonel Jeffrey A. Powers, CEO of Homeland Security Group International (Pink Sheets:HMSG), announced today that HMSG has completed the first incremental shipment of Marine Corps Infantry Breacher's Kit to the Special Operations Training Group at Camp Pendleton, California.
"The first shipment has been completed on time and has been receipted for by the Marines. The second shipment, earmarked for a Marine Infantry Battalion already deployed to Iraq has been packed and is awaiting final transport instructions for delivery to the theater of operations," commented Colonel Powers.
"This initial order breaks the ice for HMSG in this new product category. Based upon our experience with the Combat Trauma Bag, where HSMG has sold over 8,000 units the US Marines preliminary indications are that the potential for the Breacher's Kit is quite substantial for supplying military units throughout the Corps," commented Colonel Powers.
About the Marine Corps Infantry Breacher's Kit (MCIBK)
The Marine Corps Infantry Breacher's Kit is a vital tool for combat operations in urban environments. The kit was designed with the Infantry Breacher Squad in mind and is specifically made up of essential tools to aid them in the accomplishment of their mission. Included in the kit are: Striking Tools, Vertical Mobility Tools, Cutting Tools, Rope System, Wire Handling Gloves, Sensor Tools, Mark and Signal and a Load Bearing Carry Case specifically designed by the Homeland Security Group International Products Team.
"By their orders, the military is demonstrating their faith in our products. We have stated before that our business is about increasing the lethality of our forces and providing them with equipment that increases their survival in combat. Our products are designed to aide our troops in getting their job done and help return them safely to their families. That's exactly what it's all about, and we will continue to introduce products and technologies that meet our goals of providing our military with the best equipment available," concluded Powers.
