Hi, everyone,
I called and left a message. I don't know if the voice is Jugs' but I did leave a message. Another number I called drops immediately.
Trueheart
I saw the Cramer blessing. Nice.
Also, sometime during the day a guest on CNBC said he liked the company. I don't recall the person.
Trueheart
Is Billy Cuff Links still involved?
Trueheart
Does anyone here have Len's home address?
If so, please PM me.
Thank you.
Trueheart
Roger that, POSH.
I'll see you around the bend.
Take care,
Trueheart
I know I said I wasn't going to post for a while but I have to amend my post regarding Dominion Voting Systems' 1.3-billion dollar defamation lawsuit against attorney Sidney Powell.
Last week I had posted that a settlement with Powell could be an alternative to going to trial. That is no longer a possibility.
In in interview on January 11 with Tech Journalist Kara Swisher on her podcast "Sway," CEO John Poulos said he would not agree to a settlement and will proceed with the law suit in court.
In my research on Dominion, I found that the company's attorney sent document-retention letters to Rudy Giuliani, Fox news, Newsmax and One America News.
Thanks and take care all.
Trueheart
Jugs,
I am so sorry to hear the bad news.
I will pray for you and perhaps see you in another life.
Trueheart (David)
Hiya Stuffie,
I know I said I'd be away for a while but I feel I have to post this. I just read that two variants of the virus were discovered in Ohio. Please be vigilant an careful.
Trueheart
Hi, MG,
I'm sorry to see you leave these halls for a while but I understand your reasons. Like you, I'll be away again for some time because I have things to do.
Best wishes in your travels and for your endeavors.
Just a personal note before I take off: I'd like to see the Dems stop this impeachment move immediately. Many of their grievances/complaints may be settled in the defamation lawsuit by Dominion Voting Systems against attorney Sidney Powell. If the lawsuit goes to trial, during discovery both sides will have to produce evidence of their positions. We will see Dominion's near 2,000 pages of exhibits, and Powell's evidence backing her statements that Dominion was involved in rigging the election and throwing it to Biden. Pelosi needs to back off until then. Just my opinion.
Be well.
Trueheart
Thanks, MG,
I appreciate your thoughts.
Be well and travel well.
Trueheart
Hey, Nistel,
Is the company's headquarters still in the mini mall next to the massage parlor and are those four old guys still working there?
Trueheart
Hi, POSH,
Thanks for your kind thoughts.
My water bill for the landscaping is just about the same as it is during summer.
I trust you've been well.
Take care,
Trueheart
Hi Pete,
The list of things you presented that require a valid ID is simply astounding. Some appear to be menial while others have great implications. Yet, in most of the states, a valid ID is not a requirement to vote!
The lack of legal presentation as to who is actually voting is utterly flabbergasting
I hope you've been doing well in the stock market.
Take care,
Trueheart
Hi K2,
Good day and thanks for your thoughts.
I trust you've been well.
Today's forecast predicts no rainfall for at least two more weeks.
Take care,
Trueheart
I've been pretty busy writing and haven't seen IHub nor posted in some time so please forgive me if you've already seen this or someone else has posted it.
On Friday morning Dominion Voting Systems filed a 1.3-billion dollar defamation lawsuit against attorney Sidney Powell. The 124 page lawsuit is in response for what they say is her role in orchestrating a "demonstrably false conspiracy" that the company rigged the 2020 presidential election. Further, the lawsuit alleges that "Powell has directly accused Dominion of fraud, election rigging, bribery and conspiracy, which are serious crimes." They also said, "Powell's statements have exposed Dominion to the most extreme hatred and contempt."
Previously, through the company's attorneys, Powell had been issued a cease and desist order.
If the lawsuit goes to trial, during the discovery phase Powell will present her evidence and Dominion will present its evidence which is nearly 2,000 pages of exhibits.
About thirty years ago I served as the managing general partner of a group that sought the license for a new TV station in Southern California. Initially, there were something like 75 applicants but that was winnowed down to five over the many years it took the Administrative Law Judge to hear the case. Our group was one of the survivors. I traveled to Washington several times to testify on our behalf and, believe me, there is nothing as ugly and taxing as being on the stand and getting interrogated by a hostile lot of lawyers. We were not awarded the station but through a buy-out I was able to get our investors money back.
I'm sure Powell has been there and back and will be well prepared if the lawsuit goes to trial, but Hell can't be any worse than court.
On another note, please send rain. It's still dry here and recently a ten acre fire erupted. This is winter!
Take care,
Trueheart
Yeppers, MG, you can bet that "seafood diet" thing also was swirling in my head. Before I went up to see him his nurse asked if I didn't mind that a couple of medical students could be there to observe and I okayed it.
I think if they hadn't been there I would have felt easier at using something like that. He's pretty cool.
Trueheart
Hey, Gmenfan,
I heard that your method is the best way to keep from losing dough, but I'm looking forward to this great team of investors to give me the stock that is the real deal, can't lose, surefire pick.
Well..?
Trueheart
That's a good one, MG.
I got a check up at the VA during the week. Sadly, I got the crooked eye from my doc regarding my weight. I whined that I could only ride my bike and not go to the gym but he was unsympathetic and said I had to watch what I ate. I came within an eyelash of saying that I do watch what I eat and then eat it but I was cool and assured him I'd heed his words.
Take care.
Trueheart
I don't need a lecture, Bar.
I need (want) the surefire, can't lose, big gain stock.
Trueheart
Thanks, MG. If I wasn't a night owl (the curse of retirement) I'd start writing in the morning and finish about noon.
My new year resolutions included the change but, as you see, I beat the hell out of that one. The others are holding --- barely.
Enjoy your weekend.
Trueheart
I'm deeply sorry to hear that Tommy Lasorda died. Indeed, he was a Dodger Legend.
Trueheart
Good morning EZ and all,
The ponies may have you pulling your pockets inside out but you're having fun, right?
I'm up writing and haven't hit the sack but have only a couple of pages left in my head.
Have a great market day and a pleasant day for yourself.
Trueheart
Thanks, SR,
I appreciate the info.
Trueheart
Or it could have occurred from his physical confrontation with the rioters, that exertion pushing him over the edge. I'd like to see the results of the autopsy.
Trueheart
Hi, Seminole Red,
Could be that the stroke was induced by the confrontations.
I'll look for the latest news.
Trueheart
The New York Times reported that a U.S. Capitol Police officer died Thursday night as a result of injuries suffered during his confrontation with the rioters.
Trueheart
You, sir, are incorrigible.
I love to see 'em run but, unlike you, I couldn't pick the winner in a two-horse race between Mr. Ed and Sea Biscuit.
Trueheart
Bar, you have a way of killing a crazy-azzed question with a boatload of pontification.
However, I'd like to hear a few good ideas as to stocks the group likes.
Anyone?
Trueheart
As of today's closing, my Boeing (BA) shares are up just over a buck.
By the way, I got a check for just over ten K for some work I did.
Any surefire ideas about doubling or tripling the loot?
Thanx,
Trueheart
Bar, I don't want to create a political forum here. My post stated what I believed to be the fact of the matter: that Mr. Trump told the crowd that the Vice-President has the power to refuse the electors and post his own, and that the Congress has to power to deny the results of the election. Neither are possible constitutionally.
Trueheart
In reality, the president led the rioters to believe that the Vice-President had the ability to overturn the vote and that Congress could do so.
Trueheart
Happy New Year to you and to all the good people who roam these halls.
Best wishes to all for good health and serenity in the coming year.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the Triple Crown to be run in the old historic sequence.
Be good and stay safe, Marine.

New board for Magnite.

Retired Army Colonel Douglas McGregor who was recently hired as advisor to the DoD said in a 2012 Time interview that he would like to see the Marine Corps eliminated.
He called the USMC acronym should stand for Under-utilized Superflous Military Capability.
Trueheart
Yeah, I respect Grasso.
Trueheart
I don't know. I took a flyer on Grasso's call.
Trueheart
Another stock Steve Grasso touted is LAZR.
It went from approx $17 the day he mentioned it to $47.
Today it's at approx $22.

The Boeing B-52 bomber has been in service since 1955. The 8-engine aircraft has undergone significant upgrades during its lifetime and, get this, it is projected to be flying for another fifty years, according to Wikipedia.
Boeing's other aircraft that has served for decades is the KC-135 tanker that has been in service since the 50s. Boeing's retrofit of their 767 aircraft to replace the KC-135 is not yet a reliable replacement after 10 years of trying to get it right.
Trueheart
Hanging in for Grasso's "double or triple."
