ATHX STEM CELL stock at 60% cash value. Going to be a monster, NO other STEM cell play trading below cash. With low float this could move up 300% in no time like LJPC.

whats your take on CNO now?
HRZ DIRT Cheap shipper going WAY higher still. Stellar results just out. Annualized EBITDA $100 MM trading at 1 X EBITDA. NO debt due till 2012.
ooohh yoor blunt but effective!
Yes NFP and SOLF my 2 favorites. NFP crazy cheap at 1 X EBITDA.
BBX looks intriguing at $2.80 Tiny float, $40 book value, very large insider buys, recently announced dividend, didn't apply for TARP because they didn't need to, been around dor over 50 years, was $5.80 a few weeks ago now $2.80.
ALD JASO NFP- my fgavorite momo plays for 75% - 100% gains as Dow goes to 9000. Here is good ALD post
Lemi,
Let me try. ALD's divi has historically been made up of about $.20-$.25 of NOI per quarter and perhaps $.40 of realized capital gains that they pay out over time to smooth the dividend. That is how we got the $.65. Even though things were deteriorating last year they continued to pay the $ .65 per quarter because they had a couple hundred million of realized capital gains that they had not distributed to us as required by law. On the last conference call they told us that for 2009, unless things improved dramatically, which they have not, the quarterly payout would be more like the quarterly net operating income and suggested it would be in the range of $.15-.30 per quarter. That has lead to all the speculation on this board about how low it will drop. In their recent bank renegotiations they agreed to limit the quarterly payout to $.20 per quarter until end of 2010, unless the loans are paid off earlier, or unless they have to make a higher payment in order to maintain their status as a BDC. My suspicion is that when they announce their first quarter intentions, in a couple of weeks, the divi will be set at $.20. The one caveat that I would add is that I believe they still have some of that "realized" capital gain spillover from last year that they have to deal with, so they may set the divi above the $ .20 level for a quarter or two to get rid of that excess, but then do $.20 per quarter for the rest of the period. Speculation has been all over the place with some forecasting that the divi would be eliminated. That will not happen, at least not now (I mean, if we go into a 30's type depression all bets are off). My forecast is that once the divi announcement is made that will drive the stock up to the $5-$6 range and that is why I am long, plus every time the stock dips below $3 I buy a few thousand more and sell when it gets around $3.50, like I did yesterday on my trading shares. The volatility makes this a fun day trading stock for the time being, but when that divi announcement is made you DONT want to be short.
ALD JASO NFP. My favorite momo picks for double when DOW hits 9000.
next HSNI-- NFP best trading financial stock

RVI momo continues next week to $3 + IMO
Here are the facts:
RVI controls 63% of DSW.
DSW has 44 million shares
DSW closed at $10.70 yestrerday
RVI has 48.6 million shares
63% of 44,000,000 x $10.70, divided by 48,600,000 = $6.10 per share
And that's not counting their other companies. This stock will at least double (again) in the next few days.
RVI Invtrinsic Value = at least $6 Here are the facts:
RVI controls 63% of DSW.
DSW has 44 million shares
DSW closed at $9.7 yestrerday
RVI has 48.6 million shares
63% of 44,000,000 x $9.70, divided by 48,600,000 = $6 per share
And that's not counting their other companies. This stock will at least double (again) in the next few days.
RVI no brainer. RVI owns $240 mm in DSW stock and market value of only $100 mm (now). I won't start to sell until 4+.
Was the hottest January stock pullback os amazing buy opportunity.

just a great stock holding up.
CNO weeeeeeeeee!
We don't know Q4, but I think the market has assumed the worst already for Q4, and Investors price stocks based on earnings trends 6 months out.
You won't get any cheaper than this. Q4 performance (or underperformance) is now baked in.. DGLY will now rise based on Q9 forecast results. stock prices are based on future earnings expectations, not past earnings.
If you read the entire release and full year projections, it is quite clear. Profitable Q4.
LVWR MORE Insider buys. Both NAPS and LOUD got taken over and LVWR is in the same sector. You can't go wrong with LVWR.. Large Insider buys, cash rich (just sold legacy business for $28 million), NASDAQ listed, hot sector, projecting cash flow positive by 2010.
