This is a little old, but have you guys seen their last video of the SAS 51 Sanswire Autonomous Solar flight test?
http://www.wikistock.com/wiki/GlobeTel_Communications#Video
I've been away on vacation for a couple of weeks. When I take a vacation like this, that means no computer or internet of any kind. So, I'm a little behind.
I was checking out Globetel's site, and went to the 'Mexico JV info' page, and it was very encouraging to see the progressive professionalism this new management seems bent on displaying.
I agree with you on the importance of Globetel refocusing it's energies on something more immediate and tangible for the company to gain a revenue from.
I certainly hope they don't abandon the stratellite project, but I don't feel this is the time for it to be at the forefront of their developments.
The Mexican JV may have seemed like more water in the mirage, but the press release on May 10th "GlobeTel Communications Corp. today announced that 83 HotZone 4010 devices and accompanying antennae
were shipped to the Company’s No Mas Cables de Mexico (NMC) joint venture", would definitely suggest otherwise.

But sadly for me, STSM would have to go up $12 a share for me to break even, after that reverse split.
http://www.wikistock.com
I just wrote them an email, telling them I would be happy to tackle updating their site. It's one of the most dated sites I've come across in a while.
So unlikely any support from Carlos Slim Helú ?
http://www.wikistock.com
"Carlos Slim Helú (born January 28, 1940 in Mexico City) is a Mexican businessman.[1] He is Latin America's richest man, and third richest in the world according to Forbes with an estimated fortune of US49 billion.
Slim has a substantial influence over the telecommunications industry in Mexico and indeed the whole Latin American region. He controls Teléfonos de México (Telmex), Telcel and América Móvil companies. Though he maintains an active involvement in his companies, his three sons Carlos Slim Domit, Marco Antonio Slim Domit and Patrick Slim Domit head them on a day-to-day basis."
Is this guy in anyway connected to Globetels/telecom deal in Mexico?
Ok, so now I own 7 shares of STSM at .70 a share.
If I could get my hands on these people. Why is no one held accountable anymore. What a joke.
http://www.wikistock.com
Exactly, what am I going to sell?? It's worth less than the transaction.
Yup, thanks for the update, don't have any choice at this point but to hold out.
Heya,
I'm still hanging on , no choice...
Im in pretty much the same boat as you. TD is posting a
-88.59% loss for CMBV.
I just keeping thinking, "Who knows, maybe they will come out of nowhere with a surprise, or maybe it'll get pumped up just enough so its not such an ugly loss for me." But hoping is probably the last way to go about this business.
Another expensive lesson. ;O)
I'm feeling I was taken myself. Pretty much have wrote it off as a loss. It would be nice if legal action could be pursued against this company. Yeah right.
That would be awesome, and if you don't think it fits your criteria, I would really enjoy hearing any comments/suggestions/feedback you might have.
I'm trying to focus it toward immediate relevancy, instead of being historically based. You will find some history in it, but I am working to reduce that as much as possible. My main goal is to have work as a quick reference to different aspects of day trading.
Thanks again
Hi Irishbull,
Is there anychance you might find something on my site wikistock.com useful enough to add to your list of resource sites in your heading at the top of this page?
No team(I wish there was)just me working on it. :o) I've started thinking though maybe eventually, making it so people get a percentage of the ads on the pages they create. What do you think of this?
When I first started learning about trading, I found the information in all the books and articles I was reading to be overwhelming and confusing to keep organized in my head. I figured the best solution would be to start a wiki, to help straigten it out. But its since turned into more of a reference guide. Mainly I was thinking that if I found this useful, most likely others would to.
Once again thanks for your thoughts, I appreciate all and any.
Ok - Thankyou so much for checking it out and providing me with some feedback. It's the first I've gotten from someone I don't know. :o)
So, yes its a site I started. I want the site to be a quickly accessible refernce guide for day trading information. I'm trying to focus it toward relevant, current information instead of historical information; which is what wikipedia seems more focused on. A good comparison would be the difference in our Apple Computer pages. Your right, there isnt to much on there yet, I have about 240 articles covering varying topics; you can explore them in more depth from the main page.
I added a link to the sec.gov site on my F/A page like you suggested.
If there is anything else you think of that might improve the site, please let me know or if you like make what ever changes you see fit.
Once again, thanks for checking it out, I really value your opinion on this.
Hi lady,
what do you think of wikistock.com for F/A info?
Heya
Sounds like that link to level II explained in the header of this page sounds fitting for what your looking for.
Well,
I've just emailed every last person at the wired magazine, suggesting they check out that video on CNBC. Hope they do, it would be great if they did a little story on it.

Murdoch and TV-Over-WiMAX
Written by Om Malik- Posted Friday at 12:49 PM
A few months ago, Robert Young had said that Rupert Murdoch will and should be very interested in fixed wireless technologies. Subsequent media reports and aggressive (and failed) bids for spectrum in the recent Advanced Wireless Spectrum (AWS) auctions indicate that the wily old fox and his company are seriously interested in life beyond satellite. There hasn’t been much concrete proof of his plans, but today we did discover another little gem which indicates that News Corp. is very interested in WiMAX.
At the upcoming IBC 2006 show, NDS (Nasdaq: NNDS), a PayTV software maker based in UK will demo a TV-over-WIMAX system in partnership with Intel and Modern Times Group’s Viasat Broadcasting, a leading digital satellite pay-TV broadcaster in the Nordic countries. They will show that WiMAX TV software from NDS will be able to deliver content over WiMAX to personal Consumer Electronic (CE) devices such as laptop computers and other handheld devices.
Visitors to the NDS stand at IBC 2006 (1.171) will be able to see a demonstration of live Viasat content encoded in MPEG-4 AVC using a Grass Valley Argos advanced H.264 real-time encoder and then delivered through the NDS WiMAX TV system over WiMAX to an Intel Centrino Duo mobile technology based notebook PC.
Normally one would dismiss this as yet another demo-ware press release, but the fact that NDS’ largest shareholder is News Corp., makes us take note of this announcement. TV-over-WiMAX could take away the important video-over-fixed line arguments that Cable & DSL guys constantly offer when dismissing wireless.
From Murdoch’s perspective, unlicensed spectrum could be one way of getting into the broadband game? Of course we have speculated a future relationship with Clearwire in the US. So many scenarios that can play out, but the one that makes most sense to me: no need to cannibalize his core satellite businesses. Thoughts?
Trashboy,
Thankyou for bringing me a clean perspective on that, it was eating at me. I agree with how you put it.
I agree completely, starting to think maybe Huff should be put in Jail.
At the SHM, Huff expressed how uninterested he was in stock price of Globetel. If this is true, why did they even bother to become publicly traded?????? I'm not a basher, love the dream of Globetel, but things are definitely not looking good on my end.
I'm at my wits end here, I can't believe how in hole I am.
Know thy enemy :o)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rupert_Murdoch
It must be red all over, with deep scratch marks.
Thank You itjustme, exactly the point.
Trashboy
You make some very solid points. I agree with you completely about the resistence found in areas with an established grid of connectivity already in place, and the possibility of new contracts in areas with geographical limitations posing problems for any other system to be put in place. But I still feel, being that WIMAX is just begining to emerge in the U.S., I see no reason for GTE not to be going after these contracts. 700 billion or 300 billion cap; whatever, at this point I would be happy to hear GTE snage a contract for a couple 100 million here and there.
Just some possibilities once they get the stratellite operational.
Think about California: EARTHQUAKES!! How many towers fall or are disrupted during small seismic activity. They more than anyone seem poised to benefit from GTE's technologies.
Think about disaster areas such as New Orleans, unable to have any kind of communication system re-established.
But once again, Thank You Trashboy for enlightening the areas where the bulbs have burned out.
The thing that baffles me the most is, why does Globetel continue seeking contracts outside of the country. Why are they not busy laying foundations here in America. I'm sure there are plenty of cities and large corporations that could benefit from their WIMAX operations! I find this to be very strange.
Still strong hold with GTE, despite all the B.S. im sure it will turn around in the comming weeks.
Does anybody know, do we have to stay at the Grand Palms in order to attend the shareholders meeting?
Hey Low
Thanks for the greatly informative plays. Just wandering, when will your book be out? :o)
Never trust a word of Rob Bleckman again.
Hello Lowtrade,
I've been reading your posts for about a month now, and trying to read whatever else you recommend. I greatly appreciate every bit of incite you've provided me with so far. Very sound logic.
I feel I'm still missing a piece of the puzzle, figuring out what the best way to scan for stocks would be. Should I just use the stock scanner I have in Ameritrade, or is there better program or web site you would recommend?
Once again, thank you for all the time you spend giving advice.
So, should CMBV be swept into its uprising current? Because I'm down over 10% for the week, and gold has been doing nothing but go up. I'm confused as to what your alluding to?
I see all these quotes for rising gold prices, but no change in pps for CMBV. Is it supposed to have some effect, and I'm missing it?
What will be the catalyst for any upward movement on this?
